At this time of the year, there are many days when the weather is simply too wet for allotmenteering. To venture out on the allotment on such days would risk damaging your plot’s soil by trampling it whilst wet, not to mention the chances of catching a cold yourself! The best strategy in conditions like these, is to stay indoors and work out detailed plans for what you will grow in your allotment next year, which will make things so much easier when it gets really busy in Spring! Tidy your plot
